Baotou Teachers’ College marks 60th anniversary

Baotou Teachers’ College marked its 60th anniversary with a ceremony held on Sept 28, according to Baotou Daily.

Established in 1958, Baotou Teachers’ College has developed into a university concentrating on undergraduate education, promoting the coordinated development of postgraduate education and continuing education, and integrating vocational training over 60 years’ growth.

At present, the college consists of 16 secondary schools, four supporting departments for teaching and research, and 14 departments focusing on various disciplines. It now offers three master degree programs in second-level disciplines, two professional master degree programs, and 46 undergraduate programs with an enrollment of 13,665 undergraduates and graduate students.
