Baotou college cooperates with JD

Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College is to cooperate with China’s second largest e-commerce operator JD in training and recruitment with a launch ceremony held on Sept 25, reports Baotou Evening News.

The college will strengthen the close cooperation with JD in personnel training, scientific research, academic exchange and teaching practice.

Earlier in July, a total of 120 students and teachers from the college attended an activity launched by JD, working as customer service staff to answer questions from online shoppers across the country.

The project is a school-enterprise initiative consisting of JD Talent Incubation Center, JD Operations Center, JD Customer Service Center, JD O2O Mall and JD Logistics. By attending training sessions, students can become temporary JD customer service staff members and learn the skills required for a job in the service sector.
