Located south of Daqingshan Mountain in the northern suburbs of Hohhot, Daqingshan Wildlife Park covers an area of 12,300 mus (820 hectares) and is the largest wildlife park in North China.

As a national 3A grade scenic site, the park is comprised of four scenic areas and 15 other functional areas. Visitors can watch wolves, pandas, Siberian tigers, African lions and a range of smaller animals, from peacocks and swans to sika deer and macaques, all running freely in the park. African species – like giraffes, antelopes and zebras – have been introduced to the park in recent years.

Daqingshan Wildlife Park sits on top of 7826 mus (521 hectares) of grassland. A two hour tour around the park allows you to see the harmony between humans and animals at play here.
