Hohhot to build featured town for health industry

A signing ceremony for the construction of a featured town for health industry in Jinshan Development Zone was held in Tumd Left Banner, Hohhot of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 26.

Yun Jiandong, director of the Standing Committee of the Hohhot municipal People's Congress stated at the ceremony that the town will help improve the functions and image of Jinshan Development Zone and promote economic development.

He said that Hohhot welcomed more private capital investment and high-quality projects.

The town will focus on the development of the health industry and function not only as an industrial park but also as a residential area for locals, according to Beijing Beiguo Capital, the construction company responsible for the town.

Cheng Hongliang, deputy Party chief of Tumd Left Banner said that the local government will establish special task-force teams to help solve the problems that arise during construction.

He noted that the government will improve the service and simplify the application procedures to help push the project forward.

The town will be designed to meet the 3A-grade scenic spots standards and is expected to be completed in three years.
