Nangang Science Park

Economy development 

As of the end of 2017, the park had 106 enterprises, of which 40 were above designed size, nine were foreign-owned or Sino-foreign ventures, 13 were high-tech enterprises and 15 were enlisted in the city’s “small technological giant enterprise cultivation project”. 

In 2017, the park had 28.2 billion yuan ($40.11 billion) in total value of industrial output, 8.38 billion yuan investment in fixed estates, 6.64 billion yuan industrial investment and 809 million yuan in tax revenue, and had attracted additional investment of 4.56 billion yuan. From 2014 to 2017, it reached 83.7 billion yuan in total value of industrial output, 28.42 billion yuan investment in fixed estates, 22.35 billion yuan industrial investment and 2.736 million yuan in tax revenue, as well as further investment of 16.88 billion yuan.

Major industries

Smart appliance, automobile and equipment manufacturing enterprises include Whirlpool Corporation (China), Hefei Chang’an Automobile Co Ltd, Continental Corporation (China), Anhui Communications Services Co Ltd and Anhui Dematag Crane Machinery Co Ltd. 

Environmental protection and intelligent manufacturing enterprises include Anhui Guozhen Environmental Protection & Technology Joint Stock Co Ltd, Kochem Electric Appliance Co Ltd, Anhui Yousi Tiancheng Intelligent & Technology Co Ltd and Zhejiang Dayuan Pump Industry Co Ltd. 

Modern logistics enterprises include Hefei Zhongwaiyun Logistics Co Ltd, Hefei Prologis Co Ltd, Hefei Suning Logistics Co Ltd, Hefei Weitian Yuntong Information Technology Co Ltd and Hefei Xinqiao Logistics Co Ltd.
