"Pingtan enjoys unique natural resources and is developing into an international tourism island. Its coast lines, stone houses and fishing culture are very attractive. We hope to better promote Pingtan through this tour," said Lin Yu, a local official in charge of Fujian tourism.
Photographers visited several scenic spots in Pingtan such as Shipaiyang and Haitan Deity to showcase the beauty of its costal scenery and cultural landscape in their lens.
"I visited Pingtan for the first time about 20 years ago. This place is very beautiful for taking photos," said Liu Jianping, a photographer who has been to Pingtan four times.
Huang Ruchuan, a photographer from Zhangzhou, Fujian said Pingtan has a lot of distinctive things such as stone houses and old fishing boats, which deserve to be captured on photograph.
