Train K195/6 linking Baotou with Chengdu which had been out of service for more than a month will resume operation on Sept 20, according to Baotou city’s railway department.
Major adjustments have been made to the stops along the railway line.
After the adjustment, the train will leave Baotou Railway Station and pass through the cities of Linhe, Wuhai, Yinchuan, Lanzhou, Guangyuan and Mianyang. The train will no longer stop at stations in Ordos, Yulin, Yan'an and Xi'an.
After this adjustment, the K195 train will depart Baotou at 8:50, and arrive at Chengdu at 14:25 the next day. The whole journey takes 29 hours and 35 minutes. The K196 train departs Chengdu at 15:45 and arrives at Baotou at 20:23 the next day. The whole journey is 28 hours and 38 minutes.
