Hongqiao provides shuttle bus service

Commuters in Hongqiao have a shorter travel time on the way to the office after a shuttle bus service was launched in Hongqiao Central Business District on Aug 27.

Before the service, for white-collar workers in the heart of hongqiao's business district, the daily commute was a real pain.

From the nearest metro stations to the CBD office towers is one or two kilometers. Worker had to walk for at least 15-20 minutes.

The launch of shuttle buses from the metro stations to the office building helped to solve the problem. The shuttle bus only takes around nine minutes to the business buildings.

The shuttle bus will run at 10 minute intervals during rush hours, from 7:30 to 9:30 and 17:30 to 19:30. The fare is three yuan ($0.46 yuan) and can be paid by bus card, coins or scanning of the bus app QR code.

The service aims to closely connect Hongqiao traffic hubs. It has docking stations near Tusincere Center, Alibaba Center and Zhenro Group Center.
