Guangzhou to shine at Summer Davos tonight

The city of Guangzhou will once again hold the world's attention with tonight's annual "Guangzhou Night" at the Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin.

The World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2018, or Summer Davos Forum, kicked off on Sept 18. More than 2,500 participants from over 100 countries have gathered in North China's Tianjin, making it the forum's largest meeting after the annual meeting in Switzerland's Davos-Klosters.

It is the fourth time the event has been held at the Summer Davos forum, which has become a main channel to increase Guangzhou's global exposure.

The 2018 Summer Davos Guangzhou Night was organized by Cedar Holdings and feature Guangzhou's innovation and vigor. The promotion event will showcase Guangzhou's culture, food and modernization. A giant LED ring screen will be used to create different scenarios of Guangzhou through special technologies. Moreover, participants will also get to enjoy the Cantonese Opera provided as a special treat.
