Longjiang Airlines starts Harbin-Chongqing service

Longjiang Airlines launched a new flight linking Harbin in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province to Chongqing municipality in Southwest China on Sept 16.

The new service will operate using the flight number LT4309/10 and is scheduled to operate every day.

The flight departs Harbin Taiping International Airport at 7:55 every day except for Saturday and arrives in Chongqing at 11:50.

Saturday flights depart Harbin at 7:40 and arrive in Chongqing at 11:35.

The return flight departs Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 13:40 and arrives in Harbin at 18:00.

The airline aims to meet increasing demand for travel and trade between the two cities.

Harbin is the economic, cultural and political center of Northeast China, and plays an important role in boosting foreign trade between China and Russia.

Chongqing, which is known for its thick fog and mountainous terrain, is an economic, financial and transport hub situated on the upper reaches of Yangtze River.
