Jilin meets Mexican investors

A group meeting on various high-tech projects was held between Mexico and Jilin in Changchun, Jilin province during the 2018 Investment Environment Forum on Sept 10.

Business delegation from Mexico shared their progress in big-data intelligence, new energy applications and aerospace technologies at the meeting. Some of the projects are expected to be launched in Jilin with the assistance of local investments.

The investment environment forum opened in Changchun on Sept 4 in an attempt to further open up industry and commerce and to strengthen the cooperation between Mexico and Jilin.

The event proved to be successful. Fourteen projects with a total investment of 34.22 billion yuan ($5 billion) were introduced to the city and four strategic cooperation agreements with an investment of 1.2 billion yuan ($175 million) were signed at the forum.

As part of the forum, the meeting also offered a gateway for Jilin enterprises to attract investments from the Mexican partners.
