2. Simingshan Town

Simingshan Town sits on Siming Mountain in the southernmost area of Yuyao city, Ningbo. With an average height of 700 meters above the sea level, the town features a mountain climate that is 32 degrees at its highest during summer and minus 15 degrees at its lowest during winter, making it an ideal place to spend the summer time or bask in beautiful snowy scenery. 

Many scenic spots can be found in town, such as Yangtian Lake and Sichuang Rock. The well-known Xuedou Mountain Scenic Spot in Xikou Town is just ten kilometers away. 

Famous Chinese poets in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) frequently found inspiration for their poems, singing praise for the town's charming landscape and folk customs, which adds to the town's cultural legacy.

The town is also famous for its vast landscapes filled with maple leaves and cherry blossoms, which contributes to many related festivals and boosts local tourism. Many special rural restaurants have also been built in the town, serving guests authentic and delicious local produce.
