Yangzhou airport offers self-service outbound customs clearance

Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport in Jiangdu district, Yangzhou started to offer self-service outbound customs clearance from Sept 11.

Eligible passengers holding electronic passports can clear the customs in no more than one minute. Passengers only need to put their identifications at a specific area and the system will automatically read and check the information.

The self-service outbound customs clearance channel is expected to greatly accelerate the pace of customs clearance and save time for passengers.

Self-service inbound customs clearance at Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport has already been put into use since October 2017.
