The pearl plums from Tianhong Agricultural Technology Development Company received export certification on Sept 4, meaning the pearl plums of Tian'e county, Southwest China's Guangxi, will be sold overseas.
Inspected by the Guangxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the various indicators of Tianhong Pearl Plum Base met the exit standards and obtained the relevant certificate. Liang Hong, in charge of the company, stated that they will be sure to develop the foreign market, so that overseas friends will have a chance to taste the excellent pearl plums.
Relying on favorable ecological resources, Tian'e has been actively implementing the agricultural branding strategy and adopting various measures to support the development of distinctive agricultural products. Through years of hard work, a number have received national honors, including four with national geographical indication recognition, 19 with environment-friendly farm produce certification; there was also certification of a 300,000 mu (20,000 hectares) area of characteristic fruits with high standards and good quality as a Guangxi Non-Pollution Production Base.
Tian'e county was titled Home of Chinese Pearl Plums in 2015, and its plums were ranked as worthy of a National A-level Green Food Certificate. The pearl plum industry will become internationalized and standardized in the future.
