Nandan releases policies to boost tourism industry

A delegation of hundreds of managers from travel agencies of Nanning and Liuzhou went deep into Nandan county for on-the-spot investigation and research into tourism scenic spots on Sept 1 and 2.

Having introduced favorable policies for acceleration of the development of the local tourism industry, Nandan has been attracting business and investment to exploit its rich tourism resources, and will support tourism enterprises as they expand and group together; meaning they will be the biggest beneficiaries. Moreover, the county has made it clear that agencies with remarkable achievements will be awarded 200,000 to 500,000 yuan ($29,247 to $73,142).

Dubbed the National Garden City in 2017 after two of its tourist areas were rated as national 4A tourist attractions, Nandan has been vigorously constructing the promising 5A scenic area and Danquan Characteristic Town, helping expand the tourism industry to a total of 1.84 million domestic visitors, up 32.11 percent year-on-year, according to government statistics.

The abundant tourism resources of Nandan have pleased all tour participants. They said that its unique natural and cultural landscapes are full of variety, and that they hope to discover even more interesting scenic spots.

More importantly, the county hopes to attract more funds to overcome the financing difficulties of its all-for-one tourism strategy, which coordinates urban and rural resources and fuels tourism promotion.

Nandan invited the delegation to advertise the excellent travelling routes and enhance the reputation of its tourism brand to stimulate the healthy development of its tourism industry and accelerate construction of the National All-for-One Tourism Demonstration Base.
