In order to further integrate big data and the real economy, the Guizhou Big Data Development Administration and other departments are giving enterprises special vouchers for cloud usage.

This act will help enterprises enjoy faster cloud services with less cost.

As Guizhou plans to integrate over 10,000 enterprises with big data, enterprises on the cloud, which means those who run their business with the help of cloud computing and storage, especially middle and small-sized enterprises, have become the priority for the development of enterprise informatization and digital economy.

The vouchers are used to subsidize the expense of enterprises on the cloud. Each enterprise has an annual application limit of 50,000 yuan ($7,337). Up to 40 percent of the sum can be used to offset the cloud service infrastructure fees and to the other 60 percent is reserved for platform systems or business applications.

Enterprises registered in Guizhou for more than a year are able to apply for cloud vouchers. Other requirements include independent corporate capacity, a clean credit history and no relationships such as affiliation, co-construction and property rights with cloud service providers.

Application procedures and detailed information can be found on the official website of the Enterprises Cloud Service Platform of Guizhou Province (https://1.207.107.34:8081/). The website is for the management and examination of cloud voucher applications, use and conversions.

According to the provincial strategy, the number of enterprises on the cloud will surpass 10,000 by the end of this year. In 2020, the province will have over 20,000 such enterprises, with two comprehensive and four specific industrial internet platforms. The penetration rate of digital R&D tools and the numerical control rate of key processes in key industries will reach 74 percent and 58 percent, respectively.
