Nanhai Wetland is a national 4A-level scenic area in the southern suburbs of Donghe district, Baotou, connecting with the Yellow River to the south. It covers 1,664 hectares, with more than 200 wild animals and plants. Situated in the center of the Hohhot-Baotou-Erdos tourism circle, it combines tourism, ecology and science promotion in one location.
It is the largest and most concentrated ecological space in the urban area of Baotou city.
