Maonan ethnic culture promoted on campus

Xianan Middle School, in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county of Hechi city, has been promoting Maonan ethnic culture to the campus over the past few years, aiming to create a characteristic cultural environment, and it has achieved remarkable results.

Located in the northwest of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in Hechi is the only long-term habitation of the Maonan ethnic group in China. As the only one junior middle school in Huanjiang, Xianan Middle School has a large number of Maonan ethnic students, who account for 85 percent of the student body. 

To advance and enrich the fine cultural heritage, the school involves its students in various ethnic cultural educational activities.
