Jilin opens 24-hour self-service for resident ID card processing and collecting

Jilin province currently has self-service equipment for resident ID cards at some police stations. Residents of Jilin province can re-apply, change and collect their ID card by themselves.

These machines provide 24-hour self-service certificate service for the ID card "all year round", and effectively solve the problems of long waiting times for the ID card and cannot apply for the certificate after work.

There are seven self-service machines for resident ID cards in the province. At present, a total of 787 people have used the machines to apply or change their ID cards, and 22,827 resident ID cards have been self-issued.

These machines are extremely convenient to use. Residents can directly input their ID number, and the machine will automatically search for historical information in the background. After which, the screen will prompt users to collect portrait and fingerprint information.

After checking the basic information on the screen, users should click the submit button and pay the license fee. Then they can take the receipt of the certificate and go to collect the ID card.

This is another major convenience and benefit measure to improve service efficiency and provide quality self-service experience for the residents.
