The Ulanmuchi (Ulan Muqir) troupe from Inner Mongolia Ethnic Art Theater performed at Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center on Aug 19, with the attendance of more than 1,200 space researchers.

The center, also known as Beijing Aerospace City, is working on a Chinese space program including the Shenzhou missions, and is situated in the northwest suburb of Beijing.

The place is the cluster of China Astronaut Research and Training Center, China Academy of Space Technology and Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center.

It’s recognized as the world’s third and China’s first modern flight control center with the capabilities of transparent control, visual measurement, high-precision real-time orbit determination, high-speed data processing, automated planning generation and high-definition image transmission.
