The Shanghai Wild Animal Park operates a boat touring route as of this August, allowing visitors to admire more than 20 species of rare animals and a large number of birds up close.

The park is also equipped with water spray projector systems to lower its temperature.

The park is the largest national level wild animal park in China. More than 200 kinds of rare animals totaling 10,000 from around the world are kept there, including giraffes, zebras, antelopes, white rhinoceros, giant pandas, snub-nosed monkeys, Chinese tigers and Asian elephants.
