Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum is a specialized museum for arts and crafts. It presents the history and essence of Hangzhou’s arts and crafts through exhibits and provides a platform for artists to impart their skills to the public through on-site demonstrations.
China Knives, Scissors and Swords Museum showcases the unique culture of knives, scissors and swords in Hangzhou. There are two permanent exhibitions: Knives and Swords and The Story of Scissors.
China Fan Museum is the only fan-themed museum in China. Fan art in Hangzhou has a long history and enjoys a great reputation around the country. The museum was built on the historic site of Hangzhou First Cotton Factory. It demonstrates the elegance of fan culture and the marvelous techniques of fan making by hand.
China Umbrella Museum was the first umbrella-themed museum in China. It gives comprehensive displays of the culture, history, anecdotes, arts and techniques for making different umbrellas.
