To promote Jilin's international communication with the world, the province has invited 69 foreign ambassadors, business representatives and their families to participate in many activities in the province from Aug 17 to 21.
The foreign guests will visit three major cities, namely Changchun, Jilin, and Yanbian from Aug 18 to 20 to witness the economic prosperity, the beautiful natural landscape and the distinctive ethnic culture of the province. On the last day of the event, the guests will be able to experience the ecological beauty of the Changbai Mountain, which borders the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
A series of activities such as sightseeing along the Songhua River, visiting the First Automotive Works (FAW) and viewing the exhibition of intangible cultural heritages, have been organized to help the distinguished guests learn the industrial vitality and profound history of the province during the five-day visit.
Hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Jilin provincial government, the event aims to strengthen Jilin's ties with different countries' embassies in China, as well as establish business relationships with Fortune Global 500 companies.
