Wafangdian Bearing Group Co Ltd is a State-owned company established in 1938 in Wafangdian county, Dalian city, Liaoning province. The company is located in the cradle of China’s bearing industry and ranked eighth among the world’s bearing companies.

The company has 11,000 employees in its eight manufacturing bases and 23 factories at home and abroad with total assets of 7.2 billion yuan ($104.28 million).

Wafangdian Bearing mainly produces bearings for heavy trucks, railway wagons, railway coaches, railway locomotives, metallurgical mills, machine tool spindles, automotive wheels and wind turbines. Its products have been sold to thousands of domestic customers and to more than 100 countries and regions, realizing annual revenues of 7 billion yuan.

All of the company’s 200,000 bearing products own independent intellectual property rights, accounting for 26 percent of all types of bearings in the world. At the same time, in order to meet changing demands of the market, the company develops thousands of new bearing products every year, accounting for 45 percent of its sales revenues.
