Sanmenxia to hold blind date Qixi party

A large-scale blind date party will be held in Sanemnxia on Aug 17 to celebrate the annual Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day which falls on the seventh day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar.

Co-hosted by the Sanmenxia municipal committee of the China Communist Youth League and Sanmenxia Daily, the party will take place outside Wanda Plaza, providing a fashionable and friendly platform for singles. Apart from ice-breaking activities, private dates, interactive games, dance performances and wedding dress shows, the party will also present various tasteful gifts such as wedding picture vouchers, tourism gift packages, beautiful flowers and movie tickets.

Additionally, new couples will have a chance to take part in a traditional Chinese wedding show on Aug 18 at Wanda Plaza to experience the aesthetic and graceful Chinese wedding culture.
