New platform to improve employment for disabled

An online shopping platform has recently been established to improve employment for the disabled in Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The platform was initiated by Hohhot Disabled Person's Federation, in partnership with a local e-commerce enterprise.

According to the federation, products made by disabled people, including handicrafts, paintings, calligraphy and daily necessities, will go on sale on the platform.

In addition, the federation has pushed forward the exploration of offline sales channels. It has established showcases in public areas such as the service center of Hohhot and some bank outlets to help disabled people sell their products.
