A cooperation framework agreement between Bama Yao autonomous county and the China Innovation Transformation Institute (CITI) was signed in Bama, Hechi on July 31. A number of government officials attended the signing ceremony.
With investment of 1.25 billion yuan ($182.3 million) from CITI, Bama will set up a health regimen tourism base, develop a microalgae-based high-end industry and publicize its tourism brand around the world.
CITI will further enhance exchanges and cooperation with Bama in various areas like setting up brands and holding exhibitions, and both parties are sure to take full advantages to achieve equal and mutual benefits, according to Qian Weiqiang, vice chairman of the China Invention Association.
Listed as one of three most favored international tourism destinations in Guangxi, the Bama Longevity Health International Tourism Zone aims to improve the image of Hechi and promote its economic development through tourism.
