Liu Zhenyuan from Harbin, capital city of Heilongjiang province, recently finished the landscape artwork on a miniature version of the Grand View Garden, or Daguanyuan, a major setting in the classic Chinese novel The Dream of Red Mansions.
The 67-year-old retired photographer was drawn to the story after watching a TV adaptation four years ago, and had the idea of making a miniature landscape of the Grand View Garden.
After four years of work, he designed and created thousands of elements, which formed more than one hundred scenes from the story.
