Ministry of Natural Resources on board to host CMEE 2018

In a recent reply letter, the Ministry of Natural Resources agreed to co-host the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) 2018 with the Guangdong Provincial People's Government.

The expo, which will be held in Zhanjiang from November 22 to 25, is the only state-level comprehensive marine expo in the country to promote global marine industrial communications and development.

Lu Haoming, minister of natural resources, pledged full support for the event, hoping that the expo would further boost its clout and become a key platform for marine economic development and opening-up.

The Ministry of Natural Resources will organize forums, road shows and investment promotion conferences, while inviting experts to disseminate marine-related knowledge during the expo.

The China Import and Export Fair, China Merchants Group, and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation will locally oversee the event.
