Zhuhai International Health Port in Jinwan district is a comprehensive biomedicine industrial park handling biomedicine, R&D, industrial transformation, financial investment, sales, and commercial logistics in an industry-university-research format.

It is located at the intersection of Airport Expressway and West Airport Road in Sanzao, forming the core segment of Jinwan's emerging bio-medicine cluster.

With an investment of 1.8 billion yuan ($282-million), the Health Port that opened of July 26, 2018, covers 16.7 hectares with total floorage of 27.8 hectares.

Planned for the multi-service facility are functional zones for administrative services, living facilities, biological incubation R & D, manufacturing, and medical logistics.

In place are animal medical laboratory, generic drug-quality research, and biomedicine inspection and detection centers. It also houses Guangdong provincial center for food-and-drug review and authentication, good manufacturing practice (GMP) education center, and a research institute for innovative molecular imaging technologies.

First-group companies located or having projects in the Health Port include Beijing Digital Precision Medicine Technology, a provider of high-end medical devices and innovative technology; and the mRNA project of Livzon Pharmaceutical Group, which relocated to Jinwan Livzon Industrial Park in 2016.
