A musical stage play adapted from “PAW Patrol” made its theatrical debut in the Harbin Grand Theater on the night of July 25. It’s the first time for the play to be performed in China.
“PAW Patrol” is a Canadian CGI–animated television series created by Keith Chapman.
The series focuses on a boy named Ryder who leads a pack of search and rescue dogs known as “The PAW Patrol.” They work together on missions to protect the shore-side community of Adventure Bay. Each dog has a specific set of skills based on a real-life profession, such as a firefighter and a police officer. They all reside in dog-houses that can transform into customized vehicles when necessary. They are also equipped with backpacks called "pup packs" that contain tools that relate to the pups' jobs.
“PAW Patrol” is very instructive, with themes that encourage children to develop citizenship values and an awareness of social responsibility via its vivid stories.
The series continues to be wildly popular all over the world since its release.
The play staged in Harbin Grand Theater has Chinese dubbing, making it easy for local children to understand, according to comments made to Chinanews.com from a staff member of the Harbin Grand Theater.
