Teens' soccer championship concludes in Hondlon

The first games of Hondlon district’s soccer championship for teenage girls concluded at Baogang No 8 Middle School, attracting participation from some 200 female students from schools across the district, according to a July 25 Baotou Daily report.

The three-day championship, co-hosted by the education bureau and the culture, sports, radio, television and tourism bureau of Hondlon district, involved two groups –– the U12 Group and U15 Group, each fielding eight-player teams.

There are eight teams in the U12 Group and four teams in the U15 Group.

A team from Baotou No 29 Middle School won first place in the U15 Group and a team from Baogang No 1 Primary School topped the U12 Group.
