The 17th Harbin International Beer Festival saw a significant increase in the number of visitors compared to the previous event during this year’s 13-day festival, thanks to the free entry policy, improved facilities and a diverse range of entertainment facilities.
The main venue of the festival was Harbin Ice and Snow World on Sun Island, which covers an area of 80,000 square meters.
In addition, there were six sub-venues in Daoli, Daowai, Xiangfang, Songbei, Pingfang and Acheng districts.
During the festival, visitors not only enjoyed different flavors of beer from renowned breweries such as Snow Beer, Harbin Brewer, Budweiser, and Tsingtao Beer; but also got to try authentic Russian delicacies, and watch singing and dancing.
Other activities such as cheerleading shows, magic shows and beer competitions were held during the festival.
In addition, inspired by the World Cup being held in Russia, interactive activities related to soccer were held to entertain visitors. Giant screens were erected to broadcast matches to soccer fans visiting the festival.
The festival, which is now in its 16th year, plays an important role in promoting Harbin’s beer industry and in drawing tourists to the local area.
This year’s festival concluded on July 22.
