Musical 'Magic Nadam' debuts in Hohhot

Magic is in the air as a musical for children, “Magic Nadam” debuted in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 18.

The musical marked the beginning of a stage performance carnival  especially for children aged 3-12 years, in Hohhot.  During the carnival from July to August, some 70 performances will be presented, including drama, puppetry and shadow plays.

“Magic Nadam” is the first original musical in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, telling a story of growth and friendship.  Integrating acrobatics, interaction with the crowd and magic shows into the performance, the musical is a huge success.

A mother brought her four-year-old child to view the musical and highly praised the performance as it teaches children the significance of “unity.”
