Inner Mongolia teenagers show sports skills

The opening ceremony for the Inner Mongolia youth sports skills competition was held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 20.

At the opening ceremony, over 600 teenagers from 12 sports clubs demonstrated their skills in various sports, including karate, cheerleading, taekwondo and rhythmic gymnastics.

Qin Ying, director of the youth office from the regional sports bureau, said that the competition was held to develop teenagers’ interest in sports and exercise, improving their physical fitness and increasing their team working skills. 

The competition was hosted by the regional sports bureau, education department, and Committee of the Communist Youth League.
