Over 70 experts and scholars from Hubei, Shaanxi and Shandong provinces, as well as Beijing, met on July 21 to discuss Zhaojun culture and its potential to boost regional tourism during a forum held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The event was organized by the Zhaojun culture branch of the Association of Chinese Ethnology, Hohhot Zhaojun Culture Research Institute and Hohhot Zhaojun Museum.
Integrating Zhaojun culture into the tourism industry could help attract more tourists to the region, said Wang Shaodong, vice-chairman of Zhaojun culture branch of the Association of Chinese Ethnology.
The association, established in 2008, has made significant achievements in the research and promotion of Zhaojun culture.
