Five mixing trucks produced by Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group have been delivered to Nigeria, according to a July 20 Baotou Daily report.
The company saw an improving market for mixer trucks and devised an early plan to capitalize on both agency and network marketing to propel its impressive development. Vehicle sales had surpassed 23 million yuan ($3.4 million) by the end of June.
Established in 1954, Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group was one of 156 national key projects established during the first Five-Year Plan (1953-1957). The company is engaged in special steel smelting, extrusion, casting, forging and machinery, operating from a 350-square-kilometer base with assets of 15.3 billion yuan.
The group also manufactures weapons and related equipment, special and augmented steel products, engineering machinery and mining trucks.
