China Southern Airlines awarded 'Most Improved Airline' worldwide

China Southern Airlines was named the World's Most Improved Airline in 2018 at the awards ceremony of the 2018 World’s Best Airlines gathering in London on July 17, a global benchmark of airline excellence held annually by airlines rating agency Skytrax.

The company's rating moved up nine places to 14th among the top 100 airlines worldwide, the first time it has made the top 20. It also won the award of Best First Class Airline in China and Best First Class Airline Lounge in China.

The result was based on a survey of travelers who traveled by air from August 2017 to May 2018. The survey included the performance of the ground crew, transfer service, arrival service, luggage delivery, onboard products and cabin attendants. Skytrax received feedback on 335 airlines from travelers from more than 100 countries. The World’s Most Improved Airlines award demonstrates an airline's great progress in global service ratings.
