The first rural tourism experience center was launched at the Wal-Mart in Huangxing Square in Changsha by Huirun Agricultural Science and Technology Co on July 18, aiming to promote rural tourism by providing rural products to urban residents.
Located in Kaihui town, Changsha county, Huirun company is engaged in hotel management, agricultural planting, agricultural and sideline product development and tourism management. The company has transformed the rural environment into resort areas by building various types of accommodation, such as homestay hotels, country hotels, wooden houses, tents, and saloon cars.
Idle houses in rural areas were transformed into unique homestay facilities which farmers can help operate. Farmers will become rural makers and incomes will be increased through the special model developed by Huirun.
Pi Qing, director of the company, said that the company will launch a flagship store in the Xingsha Industrial Base, establish 10 centers in Changsha, and at least five in Xingsha in the next three years.
"We will create a rural member club that allows urban residents to enjoy rural products and services and build a platform for the production, marketing, and promotion of agricultural products for farmers." said Pi as well.
