The Harbin station of the 2018 China Rental Kart Championship (CRKC) concluded in the capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province on July 15. Winners of the CRKC will represent China at the world-level kart championship, which is scheduled to be held in Italy this October.
Sponsored by the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sport, CRKC is the highest-level kart competition in China.
The Harbin competition is the third sub-station of the championship, following Shanghai and Jinhua.
It attracted 106 players from eight cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dalian, Wuhan and Changchun. The maximum age of the participants was 55 years, while the minimum was 8 years.
For the first time, CRKC has opted for pure electric karts and an indoor competition terrain due to the advantages of environmental protection, a more comfortable driving environment and less limiting weather conditions.
