A variety of pop art related shows, forums and activities are recently being staged at Guangzhou K11 Art Mall.

The events aim to bring a special pop art summer to Guangzhou citizens by presenting colorful exhibits and involving them into highly interactive activities.

Since mid-June, Guangzhou K11 Art Mall has been displaying the works of Keiichi Tanaami, one of the leading pop artists of postwar Japan. The Japanese artist is renowned for the motifs of the soaring American bombers, searchlights scanning the skies, city covered with a sea of fire, fleeing masses, and swimming goldfish in a tank with flashes from the bombs reflecting in the water in his works.

Previously at Guangzhou K11 Art Mall, a paper folding work shop was established to lure more citizens to personally participate in pop art creations. Later, similar workshops will also be set up at the art mall to lure more participants.
