Zhanjiang to boost business ties with European countries

Zhanjiang Party Secretary Zheng Renhao will lead a delegation to visit Russia, Belarus and Finland from July 18 to 27 at the invitation of Serpukhov city, Great Stone Industrial Park, and Poyry Plc.

During the visit, the delegation will first drop by at the Chinese Embassy in Russia to promote Zhanjiang with an introduction of the city's economic and social development. Then it will visit Serpukhov, an international sister city of Zhanjiang, for exchanges and commercial activities.   

Their second stop is Great Stone Industrial Park in Belarus, a hi-tech industrial park developed within the framework of China-Belarus intergovernmental cooperation. The delegates will investigate representative enterprises and projects in the park and tap cooperation potential.

In Finland, the delegation will hold a talk with Poyry, a global leading consulting and engineering company, to seek cooperation in papermaking and port equipment manufacturing projects.

Chambers of commerce in the three countries will be invited to attend the 2018 China Marine Economy Expo, which will be held in Zhanjiang in November.
