Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), held talks with Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of World Health Organization (WHO) on July 16.
They exchanged views on cooperation.

Wang first introduced the significance and responsibilities of the CIDCA, and said that China has cooperated with WHO to fight cholera and deliver humanitarian assistance with the help of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund in recent years.
China is willing to deepen cooperation with WHO, jointly promote the Belt and Road Initiative and build a community of shared future for mankind, Wang said.
Ghebreyesus congratulated Wang on the establishment of the CIDCA. He said WHO will use its advantages to deepen its cooperation with the CIDCA to help other developing countries improve health care, and to improve global health.
