The 2018 International Children's Art Festival will open in Tianjin on July 27 with expected participation of over 40 art groups from home and abroad.

The festival has been successfully held eight times, always playing an important role in promoting cultural exchanges between Chinese children and their overseas counterparts and in highlighting the theme of "peace, friendship and future".

It will last for five days. In addition to a variety of entertaining shows, a painting exhibition themed on the Belt and Road and a series of other special performances will be presented to showcase Tianjin’s modern charm.

The festival is co-sponsored by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, and hosted by the Tianjin Huaxia Future Culture and Art Foundation.
