Lotus flowers enter blooming season

With summer approaching its peak as late July comes around, the lotus flowers in Yuyang Park of Qunli district, in Harbin are entering their blooming season.

Lotus flowers have been a part of Yuyang Park since its construction in 2009. The area of lake covered by flowers continues to expand.There are an estimated 10,000 lotus flowers on the lake, creating an extraordinary water landscape.

Blooming season is expected to last until around mid-August.
