More than 1,500 companies that registered in Zhanjiang over the past 10 days became the first beneficiaries of the "24-in-one" business license.
The license was issued by the city's Administration of Industry & Commerce starting on June 30. As its name indicates, a "24-in-one" business license is a license which integrates 24 certificates that new companies previously had to obtain individually from different departments.
It is an upgraded version of the former "five-in-one" business license, which integrated the tax registration certificate, organization code certificate, business license, social security registration certificate, and statistical registration certificate into a single document with a social credit code.
The new license incorporates another 19 certificates needed by companies when setting up branches and engraving company seals, among other things.
Companies in Zhanjiang now only have to submit one application before obtaining their business license, or they can simply file an application via the online service platform. Those holding the "five-in-one" business licenses don't need to re-register and replace it.
The move marks a significant breakthrough in optimizing the business environment by not only increasing administrative efficiency, but also minimizing hassle for enterprises.
