The government of Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has seen its revenue hit 6.23 billion yuan ($936 million) during the first five months of 2018, representing 42 percent of its annual target.
Government expenditure hit 10.59 billion yuan, with 8.04 billion yuan spent on public services, accounting for 75.8 percent of spending.
The balance of RMB deposits in financial institutions in the city stood at 369.04 billion yuan by the end of May, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 percent.
