The 2018 China•Harbin International Beer Festival kicked off in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province on July 10.

The main venue of the festival is Harbin Ice and Snow World on Sun Island, covering an area of 80,000 square meters with newly-improved facilities. Free entry is currently being offered to all visitors.

Meanwhile, there are six sub-venues in Daoli, Daowai, Xiangfang, Songbei, Pingfang and Acheng districts.

During the festival, visitors not only have access to different flavors of beer presented by renowned names such as Snow Beer, Harbin Brewer, Budweiser, and Tsingtao Beer; but can also enjoy authentic Russian delicacies, singing and dancing.

Other activities such as football baby shows, magic shows and beer competitions are also scheduled to take place.

In addition, inspired by the World Cup being held in Russia, interactive activities related to soccer are being held to provide entertainment for visitors. Giant screens are broadcasting World Cup matches for soccer fans.

Having run annually for 16 years, the festival is expected to play an important role in promoting Harbin’s beer industry, as well as boosting local summer tourism.

The festival will run until July 22.
