An exhibition featuring cultural relics from ancient Egyptian dynasties was unveiled in Liaoning Museum, in Shenyang, capital city of Northeast China’s Liaoning province on July 6.
A total of 230 cultural relics covering the time span of 4,000 years are on display, reflecting the social life, religious faith, funeral culture and artistic achievements of ancient Egypt.
The exhibits are the representative cultural relic collections of the Egyptian Museum in Turin, Italy, ranging from mummies, articles of daily use to burial utensils.
The exhibition will run until Sept 16.
In addition to exhibition, other activities including forums and lectures will be held to introduce the life and ancient Egyptians.
