The direct air service linking Baotou in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Chongqing is to reopen on July 11, providing a convenient option for tourists traveling between the two cities, according to Baotou Daily.
The direct flight, operated by China Express on an Airbus 320, will fly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
It will depart Chongqing at 6 pm and arrive in Baotou at 8:15 pm. The return leg will leave Baotou at 9 pm and reach Chongqing at 11:30 pm.
Chongqing is one of the municipalities directly under the administration of the central government of China. It is the economic, financial and innovation center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
The relaunch of the air route has opened up an air bridge between Baotou and Chongqing, providing a more convenient transportation environment for economic and cultural exchanges between the two places.
